Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using StediPay ("the App").

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using StediPay, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

StediPay is a personal finance application that helps you track bills, subscriptions, and recurring expenses. The App is provided free of charge.

Use of the App

Permitted Use

You may use StediPay for personal, non-commercial purposes to:

  • Track your bills and expenses
  • Manage payment reminders
  • Sync data with Google Calendar (optional)
  • Back up data to the cloud (optional)

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Distribute malware or harmful code through the App

User Data

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of data you enter into the App
  • Maintaining backups of your data
  • Keeping your cloud sync passphrase secure
  • Any financial decisions you make based on information in the App

Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into StediPay. We do not claim any rights to your data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will meet your specific requirements
  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Any errors in the App will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Cost of procurement of substitute services
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Financial Disclaimer

StediPay is a tracking tool only. It is NOT:

  • Financial advice
  • A substitute for professional financial planning
  • A guarantee of accurate financial calculations

You are solely responsible for verifying all financial information and making your own financial decisions. We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from your use of the App.

Third-Party Services

Google Calendar

If you use the Google Calendar integration:

  • You agree to Google's Terms of Service
  • We are not responsible for Google Calendar's availability or functionality
  • You can revoke access at any time

Cloud Sync

If you use cloud sync:

  • Data is stored on DigitalOcean Spaces
  • We are not responsible for DigitalOcean's service availability
  • You are responsible for remembering your passphrase — we cannot recover it

Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the App at any time
  • Change features without prior notice
  • Update these Terms at any time

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend your access to cloud sync services if you violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the App.
